News Ho, ho, ho Santa Claus was there!

From the legends of Santa Claus of Myra and Santa Claus of Sion, the figure of Saint Nicholas of Myra was formed. According to the story, he performed numerous miracles and helped poor children. Ultimately, this gave rise to the myth of the merciful helper and protector who, unrecognized, gives gifts to children at night.
The well-known appearance of Santa Claus goes back to the German emigrant Thomas Nast. He drew St. Nicholas, alias Santa Claus, in the U.S. as early as 1862 with a white rakish beard, red coat and fur-trimmed cap.
 Unfortunately, we cannot confirm whether Thomas Nast was right in his description, because no one at ipf saw Santa Claus leave a sweet surprise for each employee either. But he certainly gave us great pleasure with it! |
